Driver Takes Out Wall & Window, Arrested for DUI

According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department news release, on Saturday, January 3rd, 2009 at 2:22 p.m., a single vehicle was involved in a traffic collision on Cloverhill Drive north of Highland Avenue. The driver of the vehicle, 32-year-old Amy Rothenay, hit a 6-foot tall concrete wall and damaged a 15 feet section of concrete. A piece of concrete came in contact with a sliding glass door of a residence behind the wall, shattering the window. Rothenay suffered a head injury and at Greenspot Road and Lowe's Center Drive was found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. She was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
