Police Blotter: Robbery Suspects Arrested

According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department news release, on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at about 7:20 PM, two black male juveniles approach two other juveniles as they were skateboarding near the Highland Sam J. Racadio Library & Environmental Learning Center. The suspects asked the victims if they were "gang bangers" and the victims responded they are not. The two suspects then demanded the victims' property. The victims, who are afraid for their safety, gave the suspects two iPods and a wallet.

The juveniles reported the robbery to the Highland Police Department and through an investigation, the suspects were located. The two juvenile victims were able to positively identify the suspects as the ones who robbed them. Detectives were able to recover one of the iPods but have not recovered the other iPod nor the wallet.

The two juvenile suspects were arrested and booked into Juvenile Hall.
