According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department news release, witness and other involved party statements indicate 19-year-old Marcus Deshon Perry was involved in last weekend's fight in front of 7894 Calle Del Rio Street in the City of Highland, in which Anthony Vargas was stabbed and killed and Chris Basurto was injured.
Sheriff’s Homicide Detectives have made several unsuccessful attempts to locate and speak with Perry about his involvement. Perry has used addresses in Ontario, San Bernardino and Highland. Detectives believe he is aware he is being sought and is avoiding contact. He may be hiding at any one of several friends’ houses.
