According to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department news release, on Sunday, February 8, 2009 about 1:15 AM, Dan Jayson Roderos, 22, was driving family members home, west bound on Mayberry St. near Barton Road in Loma Linda. He failed to negotiate a right turn crashing through a fence and off an approximate 30 foot embankment. The vehicle overturned killing his father Danilo L. Roderos, 52. The driver and his younger brother, Dan Michael Roderos, 13, were transported and admitted to Loma Linda Medical Center for their injuries.
According to the release the driver is suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol.
